Key Job Functions:
- Property Valuation: Accurately determine "as-is" and "after-repair value (ARV)" using Park Place Finance's proprietary software.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, comparable sales, and neighborhood data to produce precise valuations.
- Report Preparation: Deliver thorough and compliant appraisal reports in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to provide key insights on valuations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all appraisals meet applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Inspections: Conduct virtual or in-person property inspections as needed.
- Document Verification: Review contractor bids, project estimates, and other supporting documents for ARV evaluations.
- Software Utilization: Leverage our proprietary tools and platforms to streamline appraisals.
- Professional Development: Stay informed on industry changes, real estate trends, and regulatory updates.
- Team Support: Act as a resource for colleagues on appraisal matters and contribute to the company’s growth.
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of residential property appraisal experience.
- Licensing: Must be a licensed appraiser in Texas or another state.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with appraisal software, Excel, and other computer-based tools.
- Location: Position requires you to work in-office Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, at our downtown Austin office. Relocation is considered, but candidates already in Austin are strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $100,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience.
